Acacia is one of the hardest, most beautiful hardwoods in the world — each plank tells its own story in grain and tone. No two are alike. The hand-painted designs draw from two deeply personal vocabularies: the intricate tilework and coastal patterns of Galicia in northern Spain, and the free, sun-warmed palette of California's coast.
The result is a piece that doesn't feel manufactured. It feels found.

Galicia to California — two coasts, one vision.
Monica grew up on the Atlantic edge of Galicia, Spain — where the sea is granite-cold and the art is ancient, decorative, and deeply tied to place. She came to California and found something familiar in it: the way light behaves on water, the way the landscape asks you to slow down and look.
Between Tides is what happened when those two worlds stopped feeling like opposites. Each bowl Monica makes is a conversation between where she came from and where she is now — coastal patterns, botanical shapes, and geometric motifs that feel both rooted in tradition and completely her own.
